PRIA KATAARIA PURI CLOSED DAY TWO WITH HER “HAUTE HIPPIE” COLOURFUL FASHION FANTASY WHICH DAZZLED THE AUDIENCE AT INDIA BEACH FASHION WEEK 2015

She not only caters to the who’s who of Bollywood and Hollywood stars, royalty around the world, but even global celebs who covet her label but has a formidable line up of loyal clients who wait impatiently for her seasonal collections.
Crowned “The Queen of Cruise and Resort Wear” Pria Kataaria Puri dazzled the audience at Gionee India Beach Fashion Week 2015 with her “Haute Hippie” fashion fantasy.

Known for her glamorous line of kaftans in vibrant prints and colours that only Pria can dream up; this season she unleashed her signature speciality once again in floor skimming maxis and sexy minis that would be ideal to dance on the beach or for romantic strolls on the sands.

Fabrics that were ideal for the fluid silhouettes from Pria started with chiffon, silk, georgette and moved to jersey.

Skinny pants were teamed with long sleeved tunics; while hip-ward slit halter beach gowns were ideal party wear. Slashed leg jumpsuits, shifts with embroidered sleeves and yoke, capes edged with fringes, assorted bikinis and dolman sleeved long maxis were strong contenders for the haute look for beach wear.

Aimed at the stylish contemporary dresser, Pria added high waist pants and her statement skirts, sexy cropped tops, flowing dresses and chic jackets. Playing with a variety of her famous Persian prints, the colour palette divided the show into high octane hues like white, sunny yellow, cheerful red, oriental orange and mystical turquoise all off-set perfectly with the ever popular neutrals white and black.

Giving the total resort look were the turbans in the matching colour palette and the specially designed cat-eyed sunglasses to complete the collection.

Stopping the show was the lovely Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela who looked sensational in a printed red silk kaftan as she sashayed down the catwalk.

Keeping the silhouettes simple and elegant, Pria’s collection was an ode to women who are not only utterly feminine but daring enough to dress according to their “Haute Hippie” personalities.
