Delhi to witness the Uber Luxury experience of Stefano Ricci

The Italian uber luxury menswear brand Stefano Ricci launches its second store in the heart of the country – Delhi at the Oberoi Hotel this August’18. After the grand success of Stefano Ricci’s flagship store in Mumbai, this will be the second store in India. The store is inspired by Filippo Ricci’s take on art deco – Miami in his inimitable Florentine style with a huge store size of 3000 sq ft. Continuing the same zest as in Mumbai, this time the opening in Delhi is magnificent.

Stefano Ricci is a brand where products are created for timeless elegance and the highest level of quality in terms of fabrics and custom tailoring. The store offers a line inspired by Matera, one of the oldest, continuously inhabited cities in the world and a World Heritage Site, forms the backdrop of Stefano Ricci’s Spring/Summer 2018.

The brand is all set to spread its charm in Delhi with a new refreshing look. There is a lot more on the palate this time with a complete new range of trend setting high end tailored suits, ties with designs that resemble geometric engravings and laced shoes in matted crocodile with matching belts and buckles, to give some of the finest fits.

aLL - The Plus Size Store in collaboration with Narendra Kumar presented the trend setting collection at Lakmé Fashion Week W/F 2018

The aLL Primero X Narendra Kumar show at Lakme Fashion Week W/F 2018 was a grand offering for all the plus size fashionistas, as it presented multiple in-trend clothing options for men and women of all shapes and sizes. Aimed at different body types (Apple, Pear, Hourglass, Rectangle and Carrot); the looks were colourful, exciting and ideal for all occasions and festivities.

With the very intriguing and quirky title “Never Hyde” Narendra Kumar ensured that his fashion recommendations would encourage men and women to never hide or conform to other’s ideas on their figures. The collection encouraged the people to feel confident in their own skin.

The collection represents a democratic fashion estate and breaks norms with loads of vibrant shades, some whimsical prints and eccentric silhouettes. Like the previous two editions of aLL Primero at the fashion extravaganza; this time too, the collection was chic, classy and in line with current trends.

aLL Primero X Narendra Kumar presented modern athleisure, day and evening wear in quick succession with a multitude of fabrics like Ponte Roma, Interlock knit, jacquard, Terry wool, Looper knit, Moss crêpe and cotton linen which gave the garments style and substance. For added excitement and trendy touches, they brought in bright denim along with satin that was splashed with shimmering sequins.

The line of bomber and denim jackets, jeans and joggers, were complemented with tops, shirts, pants, dresses, jumpsuits and blazers. Adding a fun element to the collection, it also had printed T-shirts with photos of iconic curvy women from past eras.

SUPERDRY presents Urban Street Nights with Yami Gautam

Hosted at Lakme Fashion Week with celebrities and influencers

Superdry hosted an exclusive party ‘Urban Street Nights’ along with b-town celebrity Yami Gautam to launch its AW’18 and SuperdrySport collection at ‘The Apartment’ by Reliance Brands Limited during the Lakme Fashion Week.

The latest season represents a collection of bold clashing colours and statement up-scaled logo prints to pull a story together in ‘Urban Street’ and create an edgy statement look. Menswear’s ‘Back in the day’ collection looks to the early 80’s New York beat box scene and old school breakdancing on flattened boxes for inspiration.

The newly introduced SuperdrySport aims to bring innovative sportswear in India to those who crave individuality and are not afraid to stand out. This season, SuperdrySport will be launched exclusively on Jabong.

Yami Gautam, one of the most beloved Bollywood actresses decided to break free from the circle of fashion shows and join us to host the coolest party of the season!

Styled in Superdry by Mohit Rai, Yami kick-started the evening by unveiling a Superdry painting inspired by the street art in Mumbai followed by a celebration of Superdry’s most popular selling vintage t-shirt. “Whatever season it may be – I love Superdry! The variety of the Autumn Winter collection is amazing and the look & feel of the style & fabric is really intricately designed,” said Yami. The décor included graffiti, metal mesh and iconic Superdry fixtures which were added to bring out the theme of the season at the party.

Guests including Elnaaz Norouzi, Aalekh Kapoor, Vishwas Kinni, Mohit Rai, Hitendra Kapopara, Parikshat Wadhwani and Vaibhav Vishant were seen chatting over wine, beer & hors d’oeuvres. The rest of the night saw dancers grooving to the hip hop music and singing along to old school retro hits. It was definitely a night to remember!

Kalki Koechlin Turned Showstopper for Gaurav Katta at Lakme Fashion Week W|F 2018

It was Day 5 of Lakme Fashion Week W|F 18, when Kalki Koechlinglided down the ramp in a beautiful royal ensemble by Gaurav Katta.In his debut show, the Jaipur based designer, showcased his festive collection aptly called ‘SOUVENIRS OF BRITISH INDIA’.

The collection 'SOUVENIRS OF BRITISH INDIA ' was deeply inspired by the classic murals and roof paintings forged in forts and palaces of Rajasthan in the British Era. Every ensemble in the collection was a fluent amalgamation of therestricted royalty of the bygone era with contemporary design sensibilities of the urban woman.

"SOUVENIRS OF BRITISH INDIA" shed light on tales of Independence and empowerment throughthe royal combination of colors in georgette, net, cotton and chiffonfor the women’s wear whereas for menswear the designer used hand-woven fabrics like khadi and modal silk among others. The meticulous embroidery with golden and silver threads, sables and other accessories added elegance to the narration of his story.

Actress Kalki Koechlin, often called the ‘queen of experimental fashion’ expresses, “It was a pleasure to walk for Gaurav Katta and support him for his debut show at Lakme Fashion Week. For me, what stood out the most was Gaurav’s refreshing take on the history, art and contemporary fashion and the way he effortlessly integrated influences from them.”
