Miss India Worldwide India 2015, a national beauty pageant celebrating Indian beauty on a global platform, is all set to be hosted in India by Square Entertainment in New Delhi. Organized since 1990, and with its strong 25 years pedigree, Miss India Worldwide India actively engages India with the Indian Diaspora abroad. Slated to be held in August 2015, MissIndia Worldwide India 2015 will not only connect fashion, beauty and womanhood, but also play a leading role in creating social impact while promoting woman empowerment.

Square Entertainment has forayed into the world of beauty pageants with Miss India Worldwide India 2015 contest, and has been given the ownership to manage the property for the next 3 years in India. The pageant celebrates inner beauty and talent as much as the physical appearance of any contestant, and hence will be instrumental in setting standards for evaluating and expressing the inner beauty of a global Indian woman. Auditions for the pageant would be held across various cities in India in July 2015, and the shortlisted candidates would be a part of the grooming week leading up to the grand finale that would take place in August 2015.

On acquiring the rights for hosting Miss India Worldwide India, Mr. Navneet Kapoor, Founder and President, Square Entertainment, a division of Square Communication Pvt Ltd said, “Miss India Worldwide India is a niche beauty pageant reaching out to the global Indians worldwide, and we are thrilled to get ownership of this property. Traveling to Six major cities of India including Delhi (30th July), Mumbai (3rd August), Kolkatta(1st August), Bengaluru(5th August), Chandigarh(10thAugust) and Lucknow (8th August) for the prelimenary rounds the pageant will​ invite winners from each city to be part of the grand finale round and award ceremony that will be held in August in new Delhi.

Entries will also be sought online the registration for which will close on 28th July, 2015.
Miss India Worldwide India 2015 will be judged by bigwigs in the world of art, fashion, glamour, music and entertainment and the jury will comprise of super- star  Bipasha Basu, celebrity photographer ​Daboo Ratnani, FDCI President Sunil Sethi, jewellery designer Queeny ​Dhody and fashion designer​ Rina Dhaka.


​The winner of Miss India Worldwide India 2015 will represent India in the international finale of Miss India Worldwide, the most glamorous Indian international pageant.

Monica Gill, Ex Miss India Worldwide 2014, says, “Winning this pageant was destiny. Miss India Worldwide was a journey that made me cherish new experiences and opportunities. This title has helped me stand out amongst the crowd and made my dreams turn into reality.”

With a focus on women empowerment, Miss India Worldwide India will be partnering SOCH, Society of Concern for Humanity, an NGO dedicated to working for the welfare of under privileged women. The selected contestants of Miss India Worldwide India in association with SOCH, will do a show based on the theme, ‘Women Empowerment’. Miss India Worldwide India will also donate a part of its earning to SOCH for carrying out various women empowerment initiatives. In addition to this, the title winner will participate in numerous charity shows that would be organized by SOCH for the next one year.

Miss India Worldwide India is the aspiration of the common Indian girl, and will actively engage in cultural interaction of the Indian diaspora with Indians in India. It will showcase and communicate the fashion and lifestyle aspired by the global Indian woman.

How to avoid the harmful effects of wearing the wrong size bra


Research at Aesthetics Medispa brings out correct scientific measures of wearing a right bra

 Most of the women still do not know what is the right bra size they should be wearingIndian women wear bra just on the basis of their body size- they forget that there are a lot of other things that play a crucial role in defining a right bra size.

The research done at Aesthetics Medispa is to assess the breast volume and bra size in the endeavour to deliver the desired result in breast augmentation, we discovered that most of the women had no clue about the right bra size  they should be wearing

The bra provides support but if we choose wrong size of bra it leads to sagging of breasts. Hence it is very important to buy a bra of right fit and size.

Traditionally bra manufacturers used a system based on the difference,in inches, between the under breast circumference (called band size)plus  four if even and five if odd number and the bust circumference. If the difference is one, the cup size is A, if 2, B, if 3 C, if 4  D. Eg. If  the under bust circumference measure 27, you add 5 to make the Band size 32. If the bust circumference is 36, the difference between the band size and bust circumference, four, in this case the bra cup size is D.

This is not a foolproof system and women know that various manufacturers measure bra cup size differently. This system also has errors when the breasts are too small or there is sagging of breasts.

Research done by Dr Edward Pechter is now being accepted as a better and a more consistent way of getting the bra size correct. His research showed that for women in the 34-36 band size, a transverse diameter of the breast of 7 inches (measured across the fullest part of the breast) corresponded to an A cup, 8 inches to B, 9 inches to C etc.Because manufacturers make cup sizes smaller for smaller band sizes and larger for larger band sizes, women with a 30 or 32" band measurement should deduct about one inch from these measurements (A cup = 6", B cup = 7" and so on). By the same token, women in the 38-40" band size range will find that bras are upsized in cup size at these band measurements. Women in this size range are more likely to be an A cup at 8", B cup at 9" and so on.


Being able to buy the right bra size helps in improving the support to the breasts. It is not only increases comfort, but prevents sagging. At Aesthetics Medispa, this research is used in delivering the augmentation that women want.
