(MUMBAI) – Actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel celebrated Women’s Day by unveiling the new Issue of FEMINA and talking about their exclusive photo shoot for the magazine at a press meet at a Reliance Digital store.

Tanya Chaitanya, Editor, FEMINA says, "As Femina's Women's Day Specials go, this has to be my favourite. Be it the choice of covergirls--Kangana, the ultimate dark horse, and her sister Rangoli, an acid attack survivor who has fought much more than physical scares. Or the mom-daughter celebration across the issue where women bonding comes alive. This Women's Day we believe the focus is as much on us as the women who made us who we are. Group hug, ladies!"

This week, cover stars, sisters Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel reveal exclusively to FEMINA, their amazing journey from Bhambla to Mumbai, personal but very different struggles, solid professional partnership and plans of growing old together:

“While she was getting treated in Mumbai (for acid burns), she was mostly spaced out and had no sense of direction. It was only natural, with the trauma she underwent. I started engaging her by asking to do small chores for me,” recollects Kangana of their journey from being indifferent siblings to meticulous professionals. Adds Rangoli, also her manager since 2011, “I started with mostly handling her finances and coordinating smaller things for her. We will have our production house soon.”

“I will direct a film very soon… in less than a year.”
“I have an organic farm in Manali, and Rangoli has also bought some land there. I’m in the process of building a horse stable,” says Kangana.
“Kangana writes poems. She is an amazing poet. My husband Ajay and I are huge fans of her verses,” says Rangoli.
