Swati and Indresh unite in holy matrimony with Maa Santoshi’s blessings

&TV’s Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein has started on a high note, with the audience greatly appreciating the new characters and its storyline. Tanvi Dogra who portrays the role of ‘Swati’, an ardent devotee of Santoshi Maa is winning hearts with her on-screen presence and performance. The show with its refreshing narrative carefully draws a concurrent thread of story between heaven and earth with Santoshi Maa (Gracy Singh) as the key narrator.

Intervening between Swati’s wish to marry Indresh (Ashish Kadian) and Goddess Paulomi’s obstacles in breaking the marriage, Santoshi Maa disguises herself in a human avatar to come to Swati’s rescue. Narrating to her the Hartalika Teej Vrat and its importance, Maa Santoshi gives Swati a weapon to invoke Lord Shiv’s blessings to marry Indresh. On the other hand, Indresh’s father Singhasan (Sushil Singh) has plans to marry him to his friend’s daughter Niddhi (Dharti Bhatt).

The lovelorn couple finally unites in holy matrimony at Santoshi Maa temple without the knowledge of their families. Talking about this particular scene Tanvi said “Marrying a person of your choice is so important, and the scriptures are a testament to this. The show very beautifully has drawn a parallel connection between Goddess Parvathy’s situation when she wanted to marry Lord Shiv and Swati’s wish to marry her love Indresh. The common cord between the two being the Hartalika Teej vrat which has been woven in the story. Just like this vrat, there are numerous other vrats which will slowly and gradually take shape with a back story connecting back to Swati’s life, and simple yet powerful teaching behind each one of them”.

With Indresh and Swati taking a plunge, how will Paulomi counter it to split the newly-wed couple? How will their family react to this and will they be able to accept their relationship?

Aryan Prajapati’s mimic gimmick in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan on &TV

Big B and Badshah of Bollywood have found their new mimicry artist and that too in a child! The young television actor, Aryan Prajapati who has been entertaining the viewers for a year with his dramatic character in &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, will surprise the audience with his many talents. A die-heart fan of Shah Rukh Khan, the young actor skilfully mimicked a few famous dialogues of the actor while shooting for his upcoming episode.

Aryan Prajapati began his acting journey at a very young age and has been a part of a few television shows and films. The young artist has been Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan fan ever since he watched the duo in a movie together. Even though he is just 7-years old, he has managed to imitate the mannerisms and expressions of the actors beautifully by closely watching their films.

A great actor in making, Aryan was beyond overwhelmed at getting a chance to mimic the two legendary actors whom he considers as his idols. Expressing his feelings, Aryan said, “Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan are Bollywood’s iconic actors and they will always be my inspiration. I have binge-watched most of their movies so much so that I know almost every famous dialogue from their films. In this episode where my character had to mimic these two remarkable actors, I gave my best shot with all the dialogues I knew. Our director was quite impressed with my skills and went ahead with the show in the first take itself.  I really enjoy mimicry as a form of acting and someday wish to be noticed by Shah Rukh Khan too.”

Aryan plays the character of Hrithik, Happu Singh and Rajesh’s young and extremely notorious kid. In the upcoming episode, Hrithik insists that his parents let him pursue acting as a career owing to the passion, he holds for it. On the other hand, Happu and Rajesh are completely against his wish and wish for him to complete his studies and join the police force while keeping his passion for acting as a hobby.

Nirbhay channels his inner Bali with a 9kg Gadda in &TV’s Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram

An elaborate set, relevant props and elegant jewellery are the key elements that define the true character played by an actor, especially if it is a mythological one. While some accessories simplify the challenges of an actor in playing the role, some turn out to be challenges themselves. Television actor Nirbhay Wadhwa has been facing a similar challenge as he shoots for &TV’s upcoming mythological show, Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram. Essaying the fierce, evil and powerful character of Bali, the Vanar king of Kishkindha kingdom, Nirbhay has been using a 9kg Gadda to depict his fight scenes. The prop that has been created using steel brings out the essential authentic and raw feel of the character. It has been customised to the character of Bali and is currently the only heavy prop assigned to the actor.

While Nirbhay is accustomed to heavy weights owing to his rigorous gym routine, he still faces slight struggles with this prop. “I am used to carrying heavy weights but managing the heavy Gadda comes as a struggle when I have to use it for the fight scenes and hit someone it. It has a difficult grip and I have to ensure to keep my force and energy low so as to not cause any damage or injury. Having said that I feel the prop helps bring out the strength and expressions of my character very evidently on-screen. We have been looking to replace this one with a lighter version but till then I am trying to accustom myself to the weight.” commented Nirbhay.

&TV’s upcoming show Kahat Hanuman…Jai Shri Ram is a captivating tale of Lord Hanuman which is set to take the viewers on an interesting mythological journey of how Bal Hanuman eventually emerges as the greatest devotee of Lord Ram and manages to bring a successful end to Ravana’s reign of terror.

Tune into Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram every Monday to Friday at 9:30pm only on &TV
