Designer Rajdeep Ranawat To Present ‘Sindh’ At Lakme Fashion Week WF 2019




Rajdeep Ranawat is presenting his latest Winter Festive Collection 2019 – ‘Sindh’ – at Lakme Fashion Week WF 2019
Ranawat is known for adding a contemporary twist to traditional ethnic styles, and Sindh captures the soul of the Mughal era.
Sindh resonates to the opulent beauty of Mughal times but is fused withthe bold embellishments and motifs of Kutch, the bandhani techniques of Bhuj and traditional weaves of Balochistan. Ranawat marries these strong ethnic themes from Western India and beyond in a collection that combines the royal regalia of Emperors with the poetic notes of ancient cultures.

In his Sindh collection, Ranawat’s asymmetrical tunics, dhotis, skirts, trench coats and sheer cover-ups conjure up the flamboyant grandeur of the Nawabi era. He uses contemporary techniques in printing and embellishments like Swarovski crystals with lacquer finishes. Swarovski india has been associated with Rajdeep Ranawat since 2000 and continues to support the designer for all his new creations year after year.
Sindh is reminiscent of the mists of time but is rooted in the present. Bejewelled motifs from the Taj Mahal tell a story of eternal love and echo Ranawat’s enduring theme of ‘art to wear’.
The collection is inspired by the woman who is an urban nomad with a sense of luxury and confidence.
That’s not all. French high-fashion brand Ceriz is collaborating with Ranawat for his Sindh collection, to recreate footwear that’s very Rajdeep, completes the classy look.
The Garnish Co. known for their one of a kind handbags have collaborated with RR for coordinating Bags whereas Bana Studio from Delhi has played a vital role in the jewelleryduring the main campaign shoot.
Kitchen Therapy from Ahmedabad known for their scrumptious organic savouries have beautifully created eatables for the gifting as well.

Fitting-in is not Fitness. And greater than Fitness is ‘Wellness’!


While there is so much noise about being in shape, losing the extra inches, body shaming, overweight and underweight issues, importance of outer appearance, including innumerable others’, we have a modern age entrepreneur, a Lady Boss, Bulbeer Gandhi strongly claiming that “Fitting-in is not Fitness, and that greater than Fitness is ‘Wellness”. The fever of “Fitting-in” is not just been mushrooming but spreading like a virus across peoples’ personal and professional space; for over valuing God’s gift of life we are often engrossed in worrying about meeting society’s parameters of being  perfect, or close to perfect.

In addition she also recommends infusing concepts that promote mental and physical health into special occasions; she believes it is one of the best practices through which you can pass on good habits to your kids, family and friends. As for her very recent birthday she was seen celebrating the occasion with her kids, family and friends doing core-strength training and power yoga.
“Put yourself at the top of your to-do list every single day and the rest will fall into place”, says Gandhi, in addition she also stated that her wellness regime not only helps her in her personal space but professional too.

Ltd into a triumphant and indispensable corporate chapter says that, being the Director of an exhibition company isn’t for wimps; atop the said if you are a woman then it is completely a different story.
